Privacy policy

This policy explains how RecipeDock handles information for its iPhone and iPad app and the account and kitchen services it connects to. Contact RecipeDock at support@recipedock.app with privacy questions.
Account information
We process your name, email address, account identifier, kitchen memberships, roles and preferences to create your account, sign you in and control access to shared kitchens. If you choose a supported sign-in provider, we receive the profile and account information needed to sign you in. Password-based accounts use password hashes; session cookies keep you signed in.
Recipes, photos and kitchen content
We store recipes, ingredients, collections, notes and photos that you create or upload so you can use them across devices and share them with your kitchen. Camera and photo-library access is optional and used when you choose to add a photo. The app sends the photos you select for upload, not your entire photo library. Search terms and filters are sent to our service to return results.
Technical and support information
Our account services process session information, including IP addresses and browser or app information, for authentication and security. Service requests and errors may appear in operational logs used to maintain and troubleshoot the service. If you contact us, we process your message and contact details to respond. The native app does not include advertising or cross-app advertising tracking.
Who can access information
Kitchen members can access shared content according to their permissions. Kitchen administrators manage membership and access. When you create a share link or export a recipe, people you share it with may retain a copy. Hosting, database, file-storage, authentication and communication providers process information needed to deliver the service. Your chosen sign-in provider also handles information under its own policy. Service infrastructure may process information outside your country.
Optional website features
The native app does not perform AI generation or sell digital purchases. If you separately use AI, translation or billing features on RecipeDock Web, the content needed for that operation is sent to the configured model or payment provider. Avoid including personal information in recipe text or files that you do not want processed by those services.
Storage and retention
Account and kitchen content is stored to provide the service until it is removed or no longer needed for that purpose. Security records, backups and records needed to resolve disputes or meet legal obligations may remain after active data is removed. Shared kitchen content and copies exported by other people may remain independently of your account. We use encrypted connections and access controls, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can update available account preferences, manage content within your kitchen permissions, sign out, and revoke camera or photo access in device settings. To request access, correction, an export or deletion of your personal information or account, email support@recipedock.app from your account email. We may need to verify your identity and clarify how a request affects shared kitchen content. Contact us if you cannot access your account.
Children
RecipeDock is a recipe and kitchen workspace and is not designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and handle a removal request.
